Zinnia 'Alpenglow' Mini Plant

Zinnia Elegans 'Alpenglow' is a unique zinnia that has attracted attention worldwide.

'Alpenglow' was introduced in 2024 in the United States and has since become one of the most sought-after varieties among cut flower growers and collectors.

The flowers grow to 7 - 8 cm and shimmer in soft shades of pink, peach and champagne, often with a subtle glow reminiscent of the glow of evening light over mountain peaks - hence the name Alpenglow.

The petals are silky smooth and vary between semi-double and double shapes, giving each plant a natural, vibrant expression.

The plants grow 80–100 cm tall, are stable and bloom profusely all summer. Perfect both in the flowerbed and for cutting, where their gentle pastels give bouquets a dreamy and harmonious expression.

🌱 Cultivation & care

• Transplanting: When the soil has warmed up and all risk of frost is over. Harden the plant gradually.
• Location: Sunny and warm, in well-drained soil.
• Distance: 25–30 cm between plants.
• Care: Cut regularly for cuttings – this stimulates new flowering. Remove faded flowers for a longer flowering period.
• Tip: Support the plant if necessary; the flower stalks will grow long and bear many flowers at the same time.

🌿 About pre-booking my plant

You will receive a well-rooted mini-plant that is delivered ready to be planted out. Delivery takes place in April - May, depending on weather conditions.

📦 When your package arrives at the agent

Cuttings are shipped with the utmost care and carefully packed to withstand the journey.

Because they are living plants, it is important that you pick up your package immediately when you receive notification from the agent.

The plants do best when they are quickly taken out of the box and exposed to light again.

Unfortunately, we cannot replace damaged plants if the shipment is not picked up within a reasonable time.
